  3. Grievance Redress Management both in the workplace and communities.
  4. Ensuring compliance to sustainability regulations and international standards including the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Standards.
  5. Ensuring Human Rights Compliance by ensuring that the company respects the rights of company employees, and the people in the project affected communities.

  1. Advocating for Women's Rights by promoting gender equality, combating discrimination, and ensuring that women have equal access to opportunities.
  2. Monitoring the implementation of laws, policies, and programs on women's rights.
  3. Reporting on violations of women's rights and make recommendations.
  4. Building the capacity of government agencies, NGOs and other stakeholders to promote and protect women's rights through training and other technical assistance.
  5. Conducting research and analysis on women's rights to inform advocacy efforts, develop evidence-based recommendations for policy and program development.
  6. Collaborating with other stakeholders to share resources and best practices.
  7. Implementing awareness programs to promote understanding of women's rights.
  8. Contributing to the development of women rights policies and programs.
  9. Monitoring and Evaluation of the impact of policies and programs on women's rights to inform advocacy efforts and to make recommendations for improvement.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES

  1. Conducting investigations into alleged human rights violations.
  2. Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and document human rights abuses
  3. Preparing comprehensive investigations reports with recommendations for action to address the violations.
  4. Ensure that reports are accurate, objective, and based on credible evidence.
  5. Presenting findings to stakeholders, government officials, NGOs and media.
  6. Raise awareness of human rights violations through public awareness campaigns.
  7. Monitor and evaluate human rights situations and provide regular updates.
  8. Evaluating the effectiveness of human rights policies and make recommendations.
  9. Stay up to date on developments in international human rights law and policy.
  10. Collaborating with other teams and departments including legal,communications, and fundraising, to ensure a coordinated response to human rights violations.
